Bands Doing Battle will donate $1 for each paid admission to Select Start's November 13th (Neptune's Lounge) and November 14th (Transitions Art Gallery at Skate Park of Tampa) concerts to the Sylvia Thomas Center to financially support the Carli Slack family as Carli battles leukemia.
Carli Nicole Slack has been hospitalized at St.Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa, Florida since July 19, 2008 Carli was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on July 22, 2008. Carli received chemotherapy but has had four invasive surgeries and is currently fighting life threatening Mucor fungal infection.
